Seabrook elected president of Florida CMAA

Bonita Bay Group executive has served in various leadership roles in the Florida and National Capital Chapters of CMAA.

Michael Seabrook, general manager of Bonita Bay Group’s The Club at Mediterra and vice president of operations for the company’s New Leaf Ventures, has been elected president of the Florida chapter of the Club Managers Association of America. 

Seabrook, who is a certified club manager, has more than 20 years of experience in club management. He joined Bonita Bay Group in 2005 as general manager of The Club at Mediterra, where he is responsible for all facilities and personnel at this private club and 1,697-acre master-planned community created by Bonita Bay Group in North Naples. In 2007, he took on the additional role of vice president of operations for New Leaf Ventures, an amenities management company by Bonita Bay Group.

Previously, Seabrook was general manager of The Estancia Club, a 325-member private golf club in Scottsdale, Ariz. His previous Florida experience includes being general manager at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, a 250-member private club with championship golf. Seabrook was also club manager at Burning Tree Club in Bethesda, Md.
Seabrook is a graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in French. He is a member of the Club Managers Association of America Honor Society and has served in various leadership roles in the Florida and National Capital chapters of CMAA. He has also participated in numerous national and state committees for the association.
