Scottsdale Visitors Bureau Launches ad campaign with ProLink Solutions

On-course ad program to run in resort markets to attract traveling golf demographic.

ProLink Solutions, a provider of Global Positioning Satellite ("GPS") systems for golf courses, announced it has entered into an advertising partnership with the Scottsdale (Arizona) Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Full- and quarter-page ads touting Scottsdale's attractions will appear at participating courses via ProLink's 10.4" high-resolution screens. Through ProLink's ProFit program, advertisers such as the Scottsdale CVB reach a highly affluent consumer with the desire and means to travel extensively. The campaign will run in such prestigious markets as Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach, S.C., Naples and Orlando, Fla., and Palm Springs, Calif., as Scottsdale seeks to bolster its reputation as a world-class destination.

Scottsdale is known for its spectacular year-round weather, with an average of 330 sunny days annually and over 200 area golf courses as well as outstanding accommodations, luxurious spas, exquisite cuisine, hip nightlife, great shopping, dozens of art galleries and fabulous sightseeing in the Sonoran Desert and beyond.

"The Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited to partner with ProLink Solutions in this new advertising initiative," says Lauren Simons, vice president of marketing for the Scottsdale CVB. "ProLink's installations at high-end courses provide an unbeatable medium to present Scottsdale's extensive golf vacation options to traveling golfers."

The Scottsdale CVB joins the likes of Cadillac and HBO among ProLink Solutions' trusted advertising partners. Recent tests reveal an unprecedented level of "stickiness" and ad recall among golfers viewing ads on the ProLink screen, while ProLink's innovative ProFit program gives courses access to financing options that provide substantial cash flow from revenues generated by the ads.

"Scottsdale offers an abundance of opportunities for visitors and we are proud to partner with the Convention and Visitors Bureau in this new campaign," says Lawrence Bain, president and c.e.o. of ProLink Solutions. "By advertising with ProLink the Scottsdale CVB gets its message across to a captive audience of well-heeled, ready-to-travel golfers."
