Scotts Seed Quiz Bowl returns to Golf Industry Show

The event will continue at this year’s Golf Industry Show, formerly known as GCSAA, Feb. 10 through 12 in Orlando, Fla.

Fans of last year’s Scotts Seed Quiz Bowl will be happy to hear the popular event will continue at this year’s Golf Industry Show, formerly known as GCSAA, Feb. 10 through 12 in Orlando, Fla. All attendees of the show are invited to stop by Scotts’ booth #2270 for a chance to win $2,500 for their alma mater by participating in the second annual Scotts Seed Quiz Bowl.

Participants will be tested on their knowledge of the development of Scotts Hybrid Bluegrass Series, Roundup Ready® Creeping Bentgrass, golf trivia and other related topics. Last year’s Scotts Seed Quiz Bowl alma mater winner was Kansas State.

Competitions will take place at various times at the Scotts’ booth during the following sessions: Feb. 10 in the afternoon, Feb. 11 during the morning and afternoon, and Feb. 12 in the morning. Lettermen jackets will be awarded to the individual with the highest score for each of the four sessions. Each contestant also will be playing for his or her alma mater. A collective score will be kept and the alumni “team” with the highest score will win $2,500 for its turf grass school or program.
