The San Diego Golf Course Superintendents Association concluded its annual meeting with the selection of its board of directors for 2005-06.
Eastlake Country Club’s D. Scott Hardy was elected president and will preside over the affairs of the association during his tenure.
The entire slate of elected offices includes (all are golf course superintendents unless listed otherwise): president, D. Scott Hardy, Eastlake C.C.; vice president, Sandy Clark, CGCS, Barona Creek G.C.; secretary-treasurer, Troy Mullane, StoneRidge C.C.; immediate past president, Gerald Ward, MeadowLake G.C.; director, Bruce Duenow, La Jolla C.C.; director, Les Terada, Warner Springs Ranch; director, Steven Brochu, The Vineyards; director, Randy Hopton, Lake San Marcos Resort; senior affiliate representative, Tim Faucett, Simplot Partners; and junior affiliate representative, George Peterson, Turf Maker.
The San Diego GCSA is comprised of the men and women who manage golf courses in the greater San Diego area. Founded in 1962, the GCSASC is one of 104 affiliated chapters of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
