Saddle Creek Resort – the 900-acre Castle & Cooke community located two hours east of the San Francisco Bay Area in the Sierra Nevada Foothills – announced the release of its 2007 Corporate Retreat Packages.
The packages, ranging from $399 to $459, showcase the resort’s luxurious bungalows, highly-decorated, Carter Morrish designed resort golf course and the award-winning cuisine and wine cellar of the Copper Grille. Participants are welcomed with a wine and cheese reception in cozy “Fireplace Foyer” of The Lodge, and treated to dinner at the Copper Grille that night.
Day two includes breakfast in the Fireplace Foyer, a team meeting in the spacious Gold or Lakeside Rooms, a themed break and boxed lunches. Group and event planners can choose from memorable, optional activities such as golf, horseback riding or a wine and cheese cruise on nearby Lake Tulloch (offered April 1 through October 1). A private dinner is provided that night in the Lakeside Room. Following Day three’s morning meeting, participants enjoy a Yosemite Break and golf at a preferred rate.
“Saddle Creek Resort is in an ideal location for corporate retreats from Northern California’s bustling population centers,” General Manager Bill Troyanoski says. “Situated two hours from the Bay Area and San Jose and 1.5 hours from Sacramento, the resort is far enough away to provide a sense of departure from the city, yet close enough to reach via car in less than a half day.”
Saddle Creek Resort’s comprehensive approach is anchored by what Troyanoski refers to as the “four keys” to hosting a successful, memorable retreat: effective, comfortable meeting space, great local and regional wine offerings, world class golf and upscale accommodations.
Guests enjoy a totally self-contained, convenient environment in which they can walk to meetings, golf, lodging, hiking trails, meals and more. Golf cars are also available for use as transportation between the bungalows and The Lodge, which houses the resort’s meeting rooms and the Copper Grille.
Adds Troyanoski: “Losing or leaking participants – a common problem at meeting sites near urban area or other attractions – is not an issue at Saddle Creek Resort due to our remote location and all-inclusive environment.”
Rates are per person for two nights and three days, double occupancy in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom bungalow Monday through Thursday. Optional Friday night stays available. Exclusive of taxes, gratuities, and other charges unless otherwise noted. Subject to availability and cannot be combined with any other offer. Advance reservations required.
