Geoff Podgorny has been named head golf professional at Saddle Creek Resort in Copperopolis, Calif.
Podgorny previously served as first assistant golf professional at Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista from 2000 to 2008. His duties and accomplishments at the private club included purchasing and managing golf shop inventory, restructuring the golf services operation, overseeing a fairway renovation project and helping increase outside tournament rounds and revenue by 25 percent from 2005 to 2007. Podgorny has extensive experience as an instructor and is a certified Titleist custom club fitter.
In addition to his member services, instruction, management and tournament coordination responsibilities, Podgorny will explore new uses for Saddle Creek’s technology to enhance the member and guest experience.
