Jupiter, Fla. - Same-store rounds played increased 0.9 percent for the year, even though another decline (2.3 percent) was recorded in September, according to the National Golf Foundation. The Mid-Atlantic region, with a notable decrease of play days in September, had the largest decrease - 11.4 percent. The Gulf Coast had the highest increase, no doubt because of the twin hurricanes of last year (Katrina Aug. 29 and Rita on Sept. 24).
