Ron Hatton joined Sipcam Agro USA and subsidiaries Advan and Sostram Corp. as director of operations. In this role, Hatton will assume responsibility for supply chain, formulation/manufacturing, customer service and information technology. He will be based in the new Durham, N.C., office and report to Andy Lee, president and CEO.
“Ron brings great experience to this new role which will help set SipcamAdvan on the path to achieving our five year goal of becoming a $200 million company by improving our customer’s profitability,” Lee says.
Asked about the change, Hatton says, “I look forward to the challenge of building on the foundation we have at SipcamAdvan and working with a great team to reach our goals.”
Prior to joining SipcamAdvan, Hatton was director, supply chain for Bayer Environmental Sciences and director of operations, supply chain and information systems for Bayer Advanced in North America. Hatton holds a bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University and has an MBA in finance and marketing from St. Mary’s College of California.
