Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort, at the entrance of the 3,200-acre Rocky Gap State Park in western Maryland has retained Billy Casper Golf ("BCG") and, the firm's in-house public relations division Buffalo Communications, to provide agronomic management and publicity and media relations services respectively for the destination.
Under the agreement, BCG will oversee all maintenance of the golf course - Maryland's only Jack Nicklaus Signature design. Buffalo Communications will create and implement a plan to place Rocky Gap in national, regional and local golf and lifestyle media, as well as outlets which cover the spa, culinary, weddings, meetings, recreation, adventure and outdoor programs, amenities and services offered by Rocky Gap.
