Tim Grambley was named to the position at the Western Maryland resort.

Crestline Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of Tim Grambley to General Manager for the Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort. The Western Maryland resort, which is managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts of McLean, Va. is home to the state’s only Jack Nicklaus Signature designed golf course.

Grambley, who served as General Manager at Rocky Gap from 2002 to 2005, has been the Area General Manager for Crestline Hotel & Resorts’ Crowne Plaza Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn in St. Paul, Minn.

“It’s a great pleasure for me to return to Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort and the scenic beauty of the Cumberland area,” says Grambley. “The resort is recognized for its friendly staff and offers myriad amenities for the entire family. Whether guests are looking to test their skills on the golf course, unwind in the spa, relax by the pool or hike and bike the miles of marked trails, Rocky Gap offers something for everyone.”

During his previous tenure at Rocky Gap, Grambley oversaw the addition of the renowned Garden Spa and complete public space renovation – incorporating designs and paintings from the local art community.

“We are pleased that Tim Grambley is returning to Rocky Gap and will once again be an active member of the community and continue Rocky Gap’s success,” says Barb Buehl, Executive Director of the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce. “Increasing tourism to Western Maryland is critical to the region and Rocky Gap is an integral part of that program.”

Grambley brings more than three decades of hotel and resort experience to Rocky Gap. A graduate of the 2004 Class of Leadership Maryland program, he has sat on several volunteer community, economic development and tourism boards including: Chamber of Commerce and Greater Cumberland Committee.

Named a AAA Four Diamond resort for the sixth consecutive year, Rocky Gap sits at the gateway of the 3,200 acre Rocky Gap State Park.
