Scott McCrary, president of Carolina Communities Development Group (CCDG), announced that Olde Towne, a 600-acre exclusive urban development in Raleigh, N.C., will feature a semi-private, Rick Robbins-designed golf course.
The par-68, 6,100-yard course will include 18 holes, a full training facility, a putting green and a 7,000-square foot clubhouse. There will be three challenging Par 5’s of championship caliber as well as continuous concrete cart paths. Robbins is president of Robbins & Associates International, and has previously worked on projects including The Club at Mill Creek in Mebane, N.C.; Water’s Edge Golf Club in Village of Worth, Ill.; and Royal St. Patrick’s Golf Club in Wrightstown, Wis.
“We are pleased to have Rick Robbins’ expertise and insight for this project,” said McCrary. “Our vision for Olde Towne is to develop a diverse community that will provide residents with more than a home, but opportunities for recreation as well. Robbins has been instrumental in helping us to bring that vision to life.”
