Roslyn, Wash. -- When the Prospector Inn, managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, opens this July, it will offer introductory golf getaway rates starting as low as $185 per person, per night.
Located in Suncadia and set on 6,000 acres on the Cle Elum River, less than 90 minutes from Seattle, the Prospector Inn was designed to feeli like a mountain home. Guestrooms and suites feature fireplaces and decks complete with rocking chairs.
The introductory package includes two nights lodging and up to four rounds of golf per person (shared cart and practice range sessions included) at the 7,100-yard, par-72 Prospector Golf Course designed by Palmer Course Design Company, the first of three planned golf courses at Suncadia. The package rate (starting at $740 total, based on double occupancy and two-night minimum stay) is valid through September.
Construction on Suncadia began in 2002. Once completed, the resort community is to include a village with shops, galleries and restaurants; a lodge located on a bluff 250 feet above the river; a state-of-the-art conference center; three golf courses; a 7,000 square-foot village residence complex; luxury condominiums; town homes, cabins, custom homes and custom home sites; and 40 miles of hiking, biking, cross country ski and snow shoe trails.
