Renditions Golf Course adds ProLink GPS

Renditions Golf Course, Davidsonville, Md., added the ProLink Solutions GPS system used and plans to participate in ProLink’s exclusive national advertising opportunity.

Each hole at Renditions is a replica of a hole from a major championship host course, plus one from the site of The Players Championship. Augusta National’s fabled Amen Corner is reproduced on holes six through eight at Renditions, while legendary clubs including Oakmont, Shinnecock Hills and Carnoustie are also represented. Renditions’ 13th hole is a faithful facsimile of the infamous island 17th at the TPC Sawgrass.

“No matter how familiar golfers are with these great holes, the ProLink system offers valuable help in determining how to play them,” says Scott Nissley, regional manager of Renditions. “ProLink GPS is an integral part of the Renditions experience, enhancing our guests’ enjoyment while keeping the pace of play moving. The system allows us to manage the course more efficiently while increasing revenues through the food-and-beverage, tournament scoring and advertising features.”

With ProLink’s 10.4-inch high-resolution color screen, Renditions’ cart-mounted units display -to-read graphics including distances to the pin and hazards, pro tips, pace-of-play timer and radial arc for cart-path-only holes. Golfers at Renditions will also be able to order food and beverage items with a touch of a button on the ProLink screen.
