Deron Rake has received certification status by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. Rake, an eight-year veteran of ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance, is the Southeast regional superintendent and the golf course superintendent at Cherokee Run Golf Club, a daily fee, 18-hole facility in Conyers, Ga.
GCSAA certification identifies Rake as having met the highest academic and professional standards in agronomy, horticulture and operational excellence.
