Tucson, Ariz. - Rain Bird Corp. promoted Barbara Booth to director of the company's golf irrigation strategic business unit. Booth has been with the company since 2000 and has held the positions of marketing manager and business development manager in the accessories business unit of the company's turf organization.
Prior to joining Rain Bird, Booth spent more than eight years in the energy industry with Sempra Energy and Chevron in business development, marketing and sales management positions. More recently, Booth was v.p. of finance and business development for Visual Concepts, a Ventura, Calif.-based software company.
Booth earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from UCLA. She later earned an MBA degree from the Anderson School at UCLA.
