ProLink Solutions, a provider of Global Positioning Satellite ("GPS") golf course management systems and on-course advertising, announced that Jeffrey Cline was named vice president of institutional sales.
Cline brings more than 18 years of sales experience to ProLink, where he will oversee sales of the ProLink GPS system to golf resort chains and course management companies while directing initiatives for existing territories in the Eastern Region. The creation of this new position underscores ProLink's commitment to expanding its roster of course partners, already the world's largest and bolstered by engagements with companies including Billy Casper Golf, Evergreen Alliance Group and Kemper Sports.
"The addition of Jeffrey Cline will greatly enhance our efforts to secure partnerships with multiple-course clients," says Lawrence D. Bain, c.e.o. of ProLink Solutions. "Jeff has an extensive background in the golf industry and his broad network of existing contacts will prove a tremendous asset to him and to ProLink. He has a proven track record of creating customer value and this business philosophy complements our brand promise of being a trusted partner with our golf courses. We are proud to welcome him to our executive team."
Cline comes to ProLink from Integrated Business Systems, a developer of management software for the private club industry, where he served as director of sales from 1998-2006. He was responsible for national accounts while overseeing the Independent Club sales force, developing relationships with a wide range of golf clubs and course operators.
From 1988-98 Cline served as regional vice president of sales for Agency Management Services, a provider of software solutions for the insurance industry. Cline holds a Bachelor's degree in business administration from Averett University.
"I am excited to join ProLink at a time when GPS has become an indispensable component for golf courses looking to boost revenues and streamline operations," Cline says. "I look forward to forming new partnerships with management companies and resorts that recognize the substantial bottom-line benefits ProLink provides."
