ProLink Solutions expanded its domestic base of installed courses while growing its international presence and entering partnerships with advertising allies in 2008.
Last year, despite a weak domestic financial environment, a record 125 domestic golf courses installed, upgraded or renewed their leases for the industry-leading ProLink GPS system, an increase of 23 percent over 2007.
ProLink also in 2008 secured a $3.7 million contract with the U.S. Air Force to install its system at seven courses throughout the Pacific region. Billy Casper Golf selected ProLink as preferred GPS provider for its managed properties and exclusive provider for owned properties.
In 2008, ProLink entered new partnerships with distributors in key global territories – including Spain, France, South America, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia and Australasia – and now boasts a footprint across six continents. ProLink also opened its first international office, in London, to serve markets in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. ProLink GPS is featured at more than 700 golf courses around the world, far outpacing its nearest competitors.
