ProLink Holdings Corp. announced that Michael S. Browne, CPA, has agreed to join ProLink as its chief financial officer, replacing Barry Sullivan, who has given his resignation to pursue other opportunities.
Sullivan's resignation and Browne's appointment will be effective as of the day following the filing of ProLink's 10-QSB for the second quarter. Browne will begin the transition immediately to provide continuity to ProLink's reporting and accounting functions.
Browne brings more than 20 years experience as a senior finance executive with both large and small organizations, ranging from Fortune 50 to middle market, to start-up. He also possesses broad international expertise through establishing and growing businesses in Asia, Europe, South America, in addition to other emerging markets, which is consistent with many of the regions ProLink is currently expanding its footprint.
Browne joins ProLink from Eagle Picher Commercial Power, Inc., an international provider of premier innovative power solutions to the commercial market place, where he has served as c.f.o. since March, 2005. Browne was instrumental in the Company's efforts to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which occurred during the first half of 2006.
Browne also served as President of Eagle Picher Horizon Batteries, Inc., an international joint venture. Previously, he spent nearly four years as c.f.o. of Leica Microsystems Semiconductor, an international capital equipment manufacturer financed by a top tier LBO investor group located in the UK. Previous experience includes more than two years as division c.f.o., Global Internet and Software Solutions Division, for Xerox Corporation and auditing duties for Deloitte & Touche and BDO/Seidman.
"Mike provides our management team with exceptional financial expertise, including experience with both internal and independent audits and knowledge of developing business overseas," says Lawrence Bain, president and c.e.o. of ProLink Holdings Corp. "As we continue to grow our business, including accelerating our International expansion, the importance of stringent financial controls and processes becomes increasingly more important, and Mike is an executive who will ensure our financial function operates smoothly and effectively."
"I look forward to leveraging the financial controls Barry and his team have established thus far, and creating incremental value as the business accelerates," Browne says. "ProLink is well positioned to further diversify its revenue base, thus improving the contribution from advertising to expand margins and increase overall profitability. I look forward to participating in the Company's ongoing growth."
