On May 1, Project EverGreen's new Web site went live to make it easier for consumers to get the information they need about maintaining private and public green spaces. Designed as a clearinghouse to increase public awareness about the environmental, economic and lifestyle benefits of green spaces, ProjectEverGreen.com features new tools and more information.
ProjectEverGreen.com is divided into three key areas that support its mission:
- Why Green Matters - hard facts about the benefits of maintaining green spaces.
- Get Involved - public service programs and activities sponsored by Project EverGreen consumers can volunteer for and participate in.
- Maintaining Your Green Space - comprehensive information on how to do it yourself, hire it done and every combination in between.
"Launching our new site on May Day is so appropriate," says Den Gardner, executive director of Project EverGreen. "When you think about it, the green industry celebrates the renewal of nature every day. The Web site redesign is an important step toward giving consumers tangible tools to get involved in caring for their own green space and helping their community expand its green spaces as well."
Consumers are also encouraged to review Project EverGreen's new affinity club Web site - Yard Enthusiasts of America (YEA) -- www.yardenthusiasts.com. It's a great opportunity for consumers to communicate among themselves about green spaces, enter contests to win prizes and much more.
