Project EverGreen announces leadership

Project EverGreen elected its leadership for 2006 while at its board of directors meeting in Columbus, Ohio December 13 and 14. Immediate past president Paul McDonough of LESCO, passed the baton to incoming president Cindy Code, editorial director for the Lawn & Landscape media group. Also named to the board were:

· First vice president: Chris Kujawa, Kujawa Enterprises;
· Second vice president: Norman Goldenberg, TruGreen ChemLawn;
· Secretary: Bill Klutho, John Deere; and
· Treasurer: Tom Delaney, Professional Landcare Network.

“Project EverGreen is represented by a diverse and talented group,” says Code. “The dedication and passion for the green industry that each individual brings has helped to elevate the visibility and recognition of Project EverGreen in short time. I’m excited about the opportunities we have in 2006.”

Save for Norman Goldenberg taking on a new title, Project EverGreen’s executive committee remains mostly unchanged for the New Year. Neil Cleveland, representing Bayer Environmental Science, replaces Dan Carrothers who announced he will be leaving Bayer to pursue new opportunities at the end of the month. Carrothers, soon to be working with Datacore Inc., will remain connected with Project EverGreen as a board member.

Rounding out the Executive Committee are:
