The Atlantic Seed Association recently welcomed Dan Fick to its executive board. Fick, the Northeast regional sales manager for Profile Products, was nominated to join the board at an executive session and was unanimously confirmed at an association meeting in Hershey, Pa. on Oct. 8.
Fick will serve as an Associate Board Member, and his primary responsibilities will focus on recruiting new members and representing the board at the organization's annual national conference.
The Atlantic Seed Association's members include corporates, partnerships or individuals who are "closely associated with the seed trade." The organization has worked with seed producers and distributors for more than 65 years and includes members from 14 northeastern states plus the District of Columbia.
"It's a very well-respected and important organization in this region and has reach across the entire country," Fick says. "I'm honored to represent Profile Products in this role and am confident that I'll be able to contribute to the ongoing success of the Atlantic Seed Association."
Fick has been involved in the turf industry for more than 25 years, the last two of which have been with Profile Products. Board members serve indefinitely, and Fick said that he hopes that this is the start of a long-term commitment to the organization and its members.
