Profile Products hired John Ferguson as southeast regional sales manager for Turface Athletics and Profile Golf products.
As regional sales manager, Ferguson provides expertise and support to customers and distributors on soil solutions for sports fields and golf courses in the southeast United States. Ferguson's territory covers Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Mississippi. He is also responsible for maintaining and establishing regional relationships with influencers in the sports field market, as well as with minor league and Major League Baseball (MLB) and NFL groundskeepers.
Prior to joining Profile, Ferguson was a sales manager for Lesco, Inc. in Lesco's north Charlotte, N.C., market. Before that, he was superintendent of grounds at Davidson College, located in Davidson, N.C. Ferguson also has extensive previous experience in the sports field and golf markets that includes seven years as grounds superintendent for the Atlanta Braves affiliate, the Richmond Braves, and 10 years as superintendent and assistant superintendent at golf courses in Florida and South Carolina.
Ferguson received his certification in golf course maintenance from Trident Technical College in Charleston, S.C. He is based in Mooresville, N.C.
