Profile Products LLC welcomes Michael D. Robeson as its new manager of technical services. In this role, Robeson is responsible for managing Profile's technical services department, which produces targeted technical documents and materials to ensure that specifiers and end users are provided with the highest quality information available. Robeson is also highly involved in Profile's research and development activities for advanced erosion and sediment control and storm water treatment technologies.

Robeson brings valuable erosion control and storm water knowledge to his role with Profile. Prior to joining Profile, Robeson was a faculty appointed research associate and manager of the Hydraulics Laboratory at Colorado State University's (CSU) Engineering Research Center in Fort Collins, Colo.
Through his professional and educational background, Robeson gained extensive experience in testing and evaluating high-end erosion control systems, including turf reinforcement mats, articulating concrete block systems and gabion mattresses. He has also worked with numerous public agencies and private clients in developing research programs to assess hydraulic designs, situation modeling and data collection.
Robeson is a registered professional engineer and received a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a Master's degree in civil engineering--hydraulics from CSU. He is currently working toward earning his Doctor of Philosophy degree in civil engineering--hydraulics from CSU. Robeson is based in Loveland, Colo., and is a member of the American Society of Testing and Materials, American Society of Civil Engineers and the International Erosion Control Association.
