Profile partners with Drject for complete aeration benefits

Partnership will provide DryJect with worldwide use of Profile Porous Ceramics products via Profile's distribution network.

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. – Profile Products LLC announced recently that it has partnered with DryJect, manufacturer of the DryJect soil aeration system, to provide advanced soil solutions for the golf course and sports field industries. The partnership will combine DryJect’s unique technology and service network with Profile’s expertise, products and distribution network into a single, convenient delivery system.

DryJect provides a revolutionary approach to soil aeration and soil amendment for golf course greens, tees, fairways, sports fields and landscape areas. The patented technology uses water to fracture the soil while simultaneously injecting large volumes – up to two tons per green – of dry material into the soil. Based on a patented Venturi vacuum technology, the DryJect aeration/injection technique leaves the surface usable and playable in one hour.

Profile’s partnership with DryJect will provide DryJect with worldwide use of Profile Porous Ceramic (PPC) products via Profile’s distribution network. Used on thousands of greens and tested at major turfgrass universities across the country, PPC products have been proven to increase soil oxygen, resist compaction, eliminate localized dry spots, drain better and facilitate healthy root systems that leave turf less prone to disease. As part of a new greens mix or used in a topdressing program, PPC has proven to be more effective than peat or other inorganic amendments at increasing air and water pore space and enhancing nutrient uptake without breaking down.

In addition, DryJect system users will also have the opportunity to utilize Profile’s new Field & Fairway Emerald and Greens Grade Emerald, which are topdressing materials in a rich, emerald green color. Used in both sand-based and native turfs, Field & Fairway Emerald and Greens Grade Emerald can be injected into the soil with the DryJect system, leaving little indication that the soil has just been aerated.

“Profile’s partnership with DryJect provides both Profile and DryJect with unique opportunities to expose its products to diverse markets,” said Sam Stimmel, director of Profile Golf. “In addition, the use of soil-enriching PPC in the DryJect system will provide superintendents and groundskeepers with turf that is undisputedly healthy and quickly playable.”
