PrimeraTurf, a purchasing cooperative for independent distributors serving the professional turf and ornamental industry, has announced the introduction of an expanded lineup of water-conserving soil wetting agents.
The lineup includes Myst, a season-long wetting agent; Hydrate, a wetting agent for monthly maintenance programs; and Gateway, an irrigation injectable wetting agent.
All three agents contain wetting and spreading agents as well as re-wetting agents. They allow applied water to enter the root zone, including areas previously affected by Localized Dry Spot. The agents were developed as part of a water conservation project in Europe and the United States. All agents provide wetting properties throughout an extended period of time to help improve water use efficiency and reduce total applied water requirements.
