Primera turned to the industrial power tools world to find its new CEO, Stanley Black & Decker veteran Jeff Braun.
Braun worked more than 22 years as part of the DEWALT Industrial Power Tool team, a division of Stanley Black & Decker, holding 11 different positions, most recently vice president of sales.
Braun joins Primera after his team posted back-to-back record years in both growth and sales, “deliver(ing) both top and bottom-line results while transforming their division into a top-quartile industry performer,” Michael Kropp, chairman of the board for Primera, wrote. The team of more than 300+people was responsible for more than $1 billion in sales.
“Jeff is the right leader, right now for Primera,” Kropp wrote. “Jeff’s leadership, cooperative experience, relationship building and an outstanding background in leading successful teams, along with tremendous business development skills will help Primera strengthen our channel partnerships, membership engagement, development of strategic supplier alliances while expanding our efforts in bringing value to all of our 60 plus members. We believe Jeff’s strong leadership experience will provide our membership leading technologies and advantaged opportunities during the next phase in our history.”
Jeff and his wife, Lisa, have been married for 22 years and have two daughters, Michelle and Taylor, and — a dog note important to many superintendents — two miniature schnauzer puppies, Ace and Zeus.
