Fairway Advisors announced the sale of the St. James Golf Club located in Port St. Lucie, Florida. St. James Golf Club is an 18-hole, semi-private, championship golf course designed by Warren Henderson. The course was owned by St. James GIBG LLC. The sale price was not disclosed.
“The amount of investor interest in this golf course was tremendous. We received offers the first week the property was put on the market,” says Jeff Davis, president of Fairway Advisors.
St. James Golf Club was opened in 2000 as the centerpiece to a 700-home development. St. James is the first of four golf courses to sell that are represented by Fairway Advisors for GIBG. The other golf courses are located in Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
