Pocono Mountains courses offer alternatives for traveling golfers

A short drive provides area golfers with several playing options and stay-and-play packages.

The Pocono Mountains Vacation Bureau, Inc. invites golfers to enjoy golf at one of its 35 golf-and-resort properties, which combine to form Pocono Mountains: Discover Golf's Great Destination Secret, a coalition of properties which include an excellent mix of modern and classical designs.

"Whether golfers are looking to challenge themselves on a classic course by a legendary designer or a modern gem by one of today's top architects, the Pocono Mountains offers all the golf anyone can want," says Robert Uguccioni, executive director of the Pocono Mountains Vacation Bureau.
