Peoria, IL – Players Turf International announced the signing of a sponsorship agreement with the Northern California Section of the PGA, which will be leveraged to market synthetic turf for putting greens, fringe areas, tee boxes and fairways.
According to the terms of the agreement, Players Turf and the Northern California Section of the PGA will launch a marketing referral program that will include marketing materials to be located at Northern California PGA member locations and will allow the section and its members to earn incentive money for developing prospective customers for synthetic turf putting greens by Players Turf. The agreement also allows Players Turf to support the activities of the Northern California PGA Section by sponsoring the Annual Pro-Junior Tournament later this year.
The Northern California Section of the PGA is comprised of 1,150 PGA members and apprentices working at more than 400 facilities throughout Northern California and Northwestern Nevada.
“We are pleased to establish this sponsorship relationship with the Northern California Section of the PGA,” says Players Turf president and founder Ray Sever. “Our referral program allows PGA members in the Northern California area to earn additional money while giving their club members the opportunity to improve their game by installing a state-of-the-art synthetic putting green and chipping area in their own backyard. We also look forward to our sponsorship of the Northern California PGA Pro-Junior Tournament at Elkhorn Country Club July 5.”
“The Northern California Section of the PGA welcomes Players Turf as a new section supporter,” says Chris Thomas, NCPGA executive director. “I believe their synthetic turf product will assist golf facilities as they continue to enhance the playing and learning experience for both new and returning golfers throughout the region.”
