Plant Food Company hires Jeff Knapp

Plant Food Company has announced the hiring of Jeff Knapp as director of distributor development. Knapp, formerly of Floratine Products Group, has 18 years of experience in the turfgrass industry where his time was dedicated to educating and supporting industry professionals.

“When Jeff contacted us, I was a bit surprised and thought, ‘How did he even hear about Plant Food Company?’” said Grant Platz, vice president of Plant Food Company. “After talking with Jeff on the phone about his interest in our company, I was very impressed with his experience and even more so with his passion to help people grow and succeed. I had a gut feeling that he would fit right in with our team.”

In his new position, Knapp will continue to pursue his passion for working with and supporting the turfgrass industry.

“I share the company’s mission to focus on helping the customers, not just selling the product,” Knapp said. “I felt like I was part of the team before I was even hired!”
