Andy Ford is the new director of golf at Pine Canyon Golf Club in Flagstaff, Ariz., the club announced. Ford, currently head golf professional at The Vintage Club in Indian Wells, Calif., brings a tremendous amount of experience and dedication to the job, as Pine Canyon continues to elevate and enhance the golf experience for its membership.
Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Andy attended the Professional Golf Management School at the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Calif. and is a member of the PGA of America. Over the course of his career, he has worked at clubs including The Vintage Club in Indian Wells, Calif. and Rich Harvest Links in Chicago, Ill. He will return to The Vintage Club during Pine Canyon’s off-season.
“Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to work under excellent golf professionals, which has taught me the necessary skills to offer the high level of service one expects at a world-class facility like The Pine Canyon Club," Ford says. Shawn Lane, the previous director of golf, has done an exemplary job positioning the club and has moved into his new role as general manager, overseeing all club operations.
