Pickseed partners with Evergro Canada

The agreement will see Evergro take over the blending, marketing and distribution for all of Pickseed’s Pro Turf varieties in British Columbia.

Delta, British Columbia – Evergro Canada Inc., headquartered in Delta, B.C., and The Pickseed Companies Group, headquartered in Lindsay Ontario, announced a distribution partnership agreement for western Canadian professional turf seed. The agreement will see Evergro take over the blending, marketing and distribution for all of Pickseed’s Pro Turf varieties in BC. The agreement also will allow Evergro to service its Alberta professional turf customers with a cooperative distribution arrangement with Pickseed.

Pickseed will retain and maintain its consumer grass seed business as well as its forage and corn business in BC and Alberta.

Evergro, a western Canadian turf and agricultural product distributor and manufacturer was formed in 1975, then known as Agrico Sales Ltd. During the past 30 years the company has grown to become a dominant supplier of seed and fertilizer to the pro turf grass and horticultural industry in B.C.

With six sales and distribution centers in western Canada, the Evergro group offers extensive coverage and service to its turf and horticultural customers.
