Valdosta, Ga. - Avocet PLX Herbicide is the newest product to join the ever-expanding line from Phoenix Environmental Care LLC.
“Avocet PLX contains 54 percent glyphosate as the active ingredient,” says Craig Smith Aquatic Business Manager for Phoenix Environmental Care LLC. “This means Avocet PLX will provide outstanding, post-emergent control of a wide variety of aquatic and non-crop weeds. It is an excellent, broad-spectrum herbicide that, in addition to aquatic environments, can be used on shorelines, landscapes, and in turf and non-crop areas.”
Smith says that because Avocet PLX contains a propriety and patented surfactant, there is no need to add additional, expensive surfactants to the product. “That’s a real advantage to Avocet PLX,” says Smith. “In addition, Avocet PLX is the perfect tank-mix partner to other Phoenix products like GullWing™ brand imazapyr, Kraken™ brand ticlopyr, RedWing™ brand diquat, and others.”
Avocet PLX is conveniently packaged in 2.5 gallon, 30 gallon, and 275 gallon containers. The product will be available after August 1, 2008.
