Feder’s background also includes senior positions at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa; The Breakers in Palm Beach; Innisbrook Resort in Tampa, Fla.; The Plaza in New York; Princess Hotels International; and the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, Calif.
PGA National boasts five 18-hole championship golf courses, 19 Har-Tru tennis courts, a 32,000 square foot fitness center, five croquet lawns, and a private club house with several dining options.
“The depth and breadth of amenities at PGA National Members Club is one of Palm Beach County’s best kept secrets,” says Feder. “We have exciting plans for the club and will continue to maximize all that we have to offer.”
Feder started in the hospitality business by bussing tables at his parent’s restaurant near West Point, N.Y. He worked his way up through the ranks to lead some of the most prestigious hotels and resorts in the country.
“It sounds corny, but it’s all about service and making the guest feel special,” says Feder. “In a members club, it is the same, except even more. You want the member to feel that they are in their home away from home, that they are a part of the experience.”
Feder continues to be involved in the Palm Beach County community as a member of the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council, a Foundation Board Member at Boca Raton Community Hospital, and most recently, as a member of the Board of Trustees of Florida Atlantic University. He is the recipient of the Gulf Stream Council Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizen Award, The Palm Beach International Film Festival Founder’s Award and the LEAH Bridge Builders Award.
“My passion for this community extends to my work,” adds Feder. “Llwyd Ecclestone and I have known each other many years and it is a privilege to work together to make the PGA National Members Club an exceptional club experience.”
