Carol Mann's second annual invitational takes place in April and benefits The Women's Home.

Carol Mann, the 2008 PGA First Lady of Golf, will host the second annual Carol Mann LPGA Players Invitational at BlackHorse Golf Club on April 13 with proceeds benefiting The Women’s Home www.thewomenshome.org.

The team event for men and women to be played on 18 holes of the North Course at BlackHorse in Cypress, Texas, will tee off at 1 p.m. and conclude with an Awards Dinner at the club’s Pavilion with celebrity hosts and auctions.

“Carol Mann has made a career out of giving back to the game,” said PGA of America President Brian Whitcomb when he announced Mann’s PGA award in March. The PGA award honors a lifetime of contributions.
