Pellucid and Edgehill have added weather and customer franchise analysis clients in seven additional states and have analyzed more than three million rounds of golf and established course usage rates compared to weather adjusted capacity.
Results of month-by-month comparisons continue to support the findings of Pellucid’s 2006 state of the industry report, which indicated course usage slips in the fall for courses in northern climates. Several Pellucid clients have run additional customer franchise analysis reports to contact customers that have not returned in order to boost late summer and fall course usage.
Pellucid will publish its regional weather report, which will show continued positive weather conditions over most of the United States.
