Overland Park, Kansas – PeakVision Sports is donating its Dual-Zone eyewear to Salvation Army volunteers assisting in recovery and clean-up efforts in New Orleans and Gulf Coast areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Known for its golf-specific lenses, PeakVision is working closely with Salvation Army headquarters in Kansas City to provide over $40,000 worth of product to volunteers on the scene. Salvation Army officials determined PeakVision eyewear’s technological advantages and superior engineering would greatly benefit its volunteers.

To provide additional support for disaster relief efforts, PeakVision’s Web site, www.peakvisionsports.com, contains a link to The Salvation Army National Headquarters Web site, www.salvationarmyusa.org.

“It is imperative volunteers’ vision be optimized and protected when performing vision-critical activities impacting victims’ lives,” says Paul Moore, c.e.o. of PeakVision Sports. “PeakVision is honored to have the opportunity to help those in need and those who are assisting them.”
