One Source To Distribute BlueYellow

BlueYellow has been named a certified supplier by John Deere Golf & Turf One Source.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- BlueYellow, a new engineered turf system from Georgia-Pacific that provides a one-step option for golf course turf establishment, has been named a certified supplier by John Deere Golf & Turf One Source. One Source and its distributor network will be the exclusive distributor of BlueYellow to the golf market in the United States and Canada.

“Our One Source program represents strategic partnerships with many of the industry’s most respected suppliers in the seed, fertilizer, irrigation and drainage fields,” said Gregg Breningmeyer, Director of Sales and Marketing for John Deere Golf & Turf One Source. “We are very pleased to add BlueYellow engineered turf system to the One Source partnership. We believe BlueYellow is an important new technology for golf course construction and renovation.

BlueYellow combines a cellulose-based substrate with a calibrated distribution of high quality grass seed and fertilizer in the form of a lightweight, 100-percent biodegradable roll.  This professional-grade product can be custom manufactured with any variety of commercially available seed and fertilizer for a prescription turf for new construction and renovation projects.

To establish turf, professional just roll out BlueYellow over the prepared soil and water it thoroughly.  BlueYellow adheres to the soil once it is watered, reducing seed migration and erosion. The cellulose-based substrate secures the seed and fertilizer in place and helps retain water – enhancing germination. The substrate maintains its integrity for several weeks, protecting the seed and fertilizer from wind, washouts and other damaging factors, reducing the potential for fertilizer run-off and costly rework of the course.
