Troon has been selected to manage Olde Scotland Links, a municipal course in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Indigo Sports, a division of Troon, will oversee golf operations, agronomy and sales and marketing for the golf facility.
Founded in 1997, Olde Scotland Links is an 18-hole, links-style course designed by Brian Silva. The par 72, 6,790-yard course is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and has been named one of the “25 Best Public Access Courses in New England” by New England Golf Monthly. The golf facility, which is owned by the Town of Bridgewater, also includes a practice range.
“Olde Scotland Links Golf Course is an important asset for Bridgewater,” town manager Michael Dutton said. “We chose Troon due to its extensive experience owning and managing high-quality courses across the country and throughout the world. We were looking for high-quality management and we found it.”
