Stone Canyon Golf Club in Independence, Mo., has selected OB Sports Golf Management to manage the facility. Stone Canyon, located just east of Kansas City, will be a private club featuring an 18-hole Greg Norman Signature Design. The course is in the final stages of grow-in and will open to its members and guests in the spring of 2009. The course is an integral part of a quaint residential community also named Stone Canyon.
As manager of the facility, OB Sports will oversee the grow-in of the golf course, hiring and the development of a comprehensive membership plan for the facility. Upon opening, OB Sports will manage all aspects of club operations including golf shop operations, food and beverage, member services, sales, marketing and turf care.

Stone Canyon marks the second OB Sports-managed facility in Kansas as OB Sports has been managing Dalhousie Golf Club, a private Nicklaus Design in Cape Girardeau, Mo., that was ranked No. 1 in the State of Missouri by Golf Digest. OB Sports currently manages 30 golf courses and country clubs in 15 states.
