Latham, N.Y. – The New York State Turfgrass Association is co-sponsoring a series of golf tournaments with the New York State Golf Course Superintendent Association chapters to support turfgrass research and education. The tournaments scheduled are:
· August 15; Metropolitan GCSA Poa Annual Golf Tournament at Oak Hills Park Golf Course in Norwalk, Conn.
· August 22; Central New York GCSA Poa Annual Golf Tournament at Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y.
· August 24; Sixth Annual Sullivan County Challenge at Grossinger Country Clubin Liberty, N.Y. The Hudson Valley GCSA is the co-sponsor.
· September 15; Adirondack GCSA Poa Annual Golf Tournament at Craigwood Golf Course in Lake Placid, N.Y.
· September 22; Northeastern GCSA Poa Annual Golf Tournament at Leatherstocking Golf Course in Cooperstown, N.Y.
