The Fox Valley Club in Lancaster, N.Y., is seeking candidates for an open assistant superintendent position.
The club is 20 miles east of Buffalo. It is a private club part of the Century Golf Partners portfolio. Responsibilities of assistant superintendent include participation in planning daily operations, management of the golf course maintenance staff, involvement in all aspects of irrigation system and the application of both plant protectants and fertilizers.
Education: A two or four year turf management degree or turf certificate preferred. Must hold New York State pesticide license or have the ability to obtain one within ninety days.
Experience: Irrigation operation/repair and chemical/fertilizer application experience necessary. Previous experience as an assistant superintendent would be beneficial.
Salary & Benefits: $26,500-$28,500, medical, dental, vision, life, vacation, 401(k)
