A water dispersible granular formulation of ProStar fungicide is now available for use in golf course and lawn turf, as well as on ornamental plants, shrubs and trees.
ProStar 70 WDG, manufactured by Bayer Environmental Science, eases measurement and mixing and eliminates dust. The product has built-in compatibility agents for better mixing with other products and won’t interfere with standard plant growth regulator programs.
“The industry standard for curative control of fairy ring, ProStar controls many common turf and ornamental diseases including brown patch, large patch, brown ring patch and fairy ring,” says Richard Rees, fungicide development manager for Bayer. “The new water-dispersible granular formulation offers easier mixing and results in a more even application.”
Used for many years by golf maintenance and lawn and landscape professionals, ProStar provides effective disease control without any phytotoxic bronzing effects during hot weather periods.
