The Greg Norman-designed Stone Canyon Golf Club is set to open in May. Located just east of Kansas City, in Independence, Mo., Stone Canyon is the first Greg Norman Signature Design in the greater Kansas City area.
The layout at Stone Canyon will challenge members and their guests with Norman's signature design traits that include closely mown green surrounds, creative bunkering and landscape accents that pay homage to some of the great courses in the world.
Stone Canyon will be introduced to the greater Kansas City metropolitan area this year, but will not officially begin operation as a private club until 2010. An inaugural preview rate will be offered this season.
Stone Canyon Golf Club is professionally managed by OB Sports Golf Management. Prior to opening, OB Sports has managed the construction, grow-in and pre-marketing of the club.
