After a comprehensive search, Mark Sollenberger, president of Clear Creek Tahoe announced the hiring of Colin Campbell for its new director of golf position. The Club at Clear Creek Tahoe is a Coore and Crenshaw design located in Nevada near Lake Tahoe that will open for play this summer.
“I’m delighted and honoured to be appointed as director of golf at The Club at Clear Creek Tahoe. It is a wonderful project with an exciting future and I’m looking forward to joining the club’s great team there and the challenges ahead,” Campbell says.
Campbell will be the first director of golf and has most recently been the director of golf at Loch Lomond in Scotland. A native of Scotland, Campbell has previous experience in the United States as an assistant golf professional at Oakmont Country Club.
"We are very excited to have such a terrific guy and highly regarded professional on a world-wide basis join our team at Clear Creek," Sollenberger says.
The club worked with AMF Golf Management to cultivate a list of candidates for the club to consider.
