Albany, N.Y. – The Northeastern Golf Course Superintendents Association elected its 2006 officers and directors at the NEGCSA October annual meeting at Berkshire Hills Country Club in October.
NEGCSA members have elected Eric Bresky, CGCS, with Olde Kinderhook Golf Club to serve as treasurer; John Risler, CGCS, with the Town of Colonie Golf Course, to serve as vice president; and Joe Lucas, superintendent with Saratoga National Golf Club to serve on the board of directors.
Additional officers include Peter Cure, CGCS, with Orchard Creek Golf Club in Altamont, N.Y., who was reelected president of NEGCSA for 2006 and Mark Printsky, CGCS, with McGregor Links Country Club, who was reelected secretary.
Other members of the 2006 NEGCSA board of directors include: Brian Goudy, Van Patten Golf Club; Laurie Griffin, Saratoga Sod Farm; Bernie Jorgenson, Satch Sales, Inc.; Chris Strong, Country Club of Troy; Steve Curry, Berkshire Hills Country Club and Craig Cochran, Fairways of Halfmoon.
