National Golf Builders recently changed its name to Genesis Golf Builders. As a well established contractor in the golf course construction industry, the decision to change the name of the Scottsdale, Ariz.-based company came with much consideration.
“Given the success that our company has enjoyed over the years, it was a tough decision,” said Ron Freund, President of Genesis Golf. “It’s the right thing to do from an identity and branding standpoint, but of course, our clients can still expect the same high quality of services and expertise. Genesis Golf simply is a stronger name which better communicates this objective.”
Genesis Golf specializes in the construction of new golf courses as well as the renovation of existing facilities. With offices in Arizona, North Carolina, Illinois and California, the company is able to effectively take on projects throughout the United States. Its motto “Creating Your Vision” denotes the key aspect of the operation – teamwork. Genesis Golf prides itself on working with owners, architects, industry consultants and others to ensure that the original vision ultimately becomes the final product.
Services provided by Genesis Golf include new golf course construction, existing golf property renovations, irrigation installations and GPS mapping.

(Golf Inc. 2006 Renovation of the Year Award); Ohio State University Scarlet Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio; The Cliffs at Keowee Falls South in Salem, S.C.; Isleworth Golf and Country Club in Windermere, Fla. (short game area and bunker restoration) and The Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter, Fla.
