Dean Graves and Darin Bevard have been appointed to the Musser International Turfgrass Foundation board of directors by the executive committee. Graves and Bevard replace Tom Burrows and Keith Happ who passed away in 2015.
Graves is the golf course manager at Chevy Chase Club in Chevy Chase, Md. Bevard is the USGA Green Section’s director of championship agronomy.
The Musser International Turfgrass Foundation recognizes and honors doctoral graduate students in turfgrass science and related disciplines without partiality to region or special interest. The board has 24 directors representing the diverse aspects of the turfgrass industry. All directors serve without pay.
