Troon has been selected to manage Moorpark Country Club, a 27-hole semi-private club in Moorpark, Calif.
Secluded in canyons and surrounded by citrus groves, Moorpark Country Club features 27 holes designed by Jim Hardy and Peter Jacobsen. Open since 2002, the Canyon Crest, Creekside and Ridgeline nines meander through canyons and include multiple elevation changes.
“Moorpark’s picturesque setting and challenging golf course have made it a must-play for Southern California golfers for years,” said Guy Sugden, vice president, operations – sale and marketing, Troon. “We’re excited to be on board and will now look to improve the golf and food and beverage experiences for members and guests.”
Moorpark Country Club’s Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired clubhouse includes Champion’s restaurant and bar, a grand ballroom with seating for up to 425 guests, a semi-private patio and an event lawn for weddings, receptions and post tournament gatherings.
