Mission Thrills – The World Freestyle Golf Roadshow heads to China

The roadshow has been the star attraction at corporate and golf events across Europe and is about to announce details of a global tour including dates in India and Scandinavia.

Spectators at November’s Omega Mission Hills World Cup, Mission Hills Golf Club, China, will also see the World Freestyle Golf Roadshow (WFGR).

The WFGR brings together the best golf freestyle artists in the world. The roadshow has been the star attraction at corporate and golf events across Europe and is about to announce details of a global tour including dates in India and Scandinavia.

All the professionals involved have competed in the World Trickshot Championships –indeed two World Trickshot champions will be showcasing their incredible skills at Mission Hills.

The roadshow stars, including former world champion Paul Barrington, and current No1 Geoff Swain, will perform their amazing routine of jaw-dropping shots which include hitting off bricks, driving through plywood and smashing balls out of balloons.

Extraordinary shots will be the norm: tricks such as the ‘scissorhands’, which involves swinging a club in each hand while hitting continuously a row of 30 balls; hitting three balls at once; driving from a range of extreme tees; driving while sitting on a stool or kneeling; using two-metre-long drivers and, of course, audience participation shots.

Not only does the WFGR give great entertainment to the crowd it also offers unique opportunities for businesses, nationally and internationally, to entertain clients at a world-class sporting event in one of the world’s most dynamic business environments.

WFGR organisers have a range of sponsorship opportunities available for the event including hospitality packages which include title or associate sponsorship to straightforward hospitality.

“The road show is an extraordinary and unique golf event where golf professionals hit shots that look entirely improbable," says Paul Smith, who operates the WFGR. "It’s fun, it’s entertaining and it’s golf – most importantly it’s a real honour to have been selected to entertain the crowds at the Mission Hills Golf Club, China, during the inaugural Omega Mission Hills World Cup tournament.

“This is a unique event – and therefore offers exciting, new opportunities to the business sector in a live marketplace. Thousands of spectators are expected to visit the Mission Hills Golf Club, China, to watch the four-day international team-play event. Media interest and global TV coverage will be intense, as the two-player national teams’ from 28 countries battle to hoist aloft the most prestigious trophy in team-play golf.”
